The Madaras School and Talent Centre is a community-based mixed day and boarding school located in Karungu(Nyatike West Sub County, Migori County within the Republic of Kenya).
Owned and managed under the Madara Foundation (a not for profit Non-Governmental Organization).
We are a centre dedicated to excellence in academia providing adequate and relevant facilities for rural talent development and unlocking the potential of every child who walks into our institution.
We believe in every child’s capacity to become the best version of themselves, and it’s our duty to ensure this becomes a reality.

What we Offer
COMPETENCY BASED CURRICULUM (CBC)
Offering Pre-primary (Play Group, PP1 and PP2), Primary level (Grade 1-6), Junior Secondary (Grade 7-9) and Senior Secondary(Grade 10-12)
THE ANNUAL MADARAS TOURNAMENT
We host an annual sports tournament comprising various schools, community clubs, volunteer groups to compete in various sporting activities.
MULTI-PURPOSE HALL
Our multipurpose hall offers sufficient space to hold events, meetings, conferences, fairs and entertainment galas.
ULTRA-MODERN LIBRARY
Our well-equipped and expanding library offers sufficient material and technology to maximize learning.
COMPUTER STUDIES
The future will be driven by computer technology, and we must ensure we prepare our children for this future.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The need for physical education in a child’s development is one we take seriously. Our PE program is suited for all children.
MUSIC AND ARTS
Our talent centre provides a nurturing environment for children interested in music or the arts.
CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURE
In partnership with various development partners, we offer climate-smart agriculture practical knowledge to our children.
